Victim or CREATOR. The choice is ours.

The current paradigm (and mainstream art!) is viewing the human as a bad, weak, deficient being, who must be lead by external authority and told what to think and do. This view diminishes us to a small, destructive image of man, who needs constant moral correction and guidance. By projecting this limiting idea onto all humans, we are perpetuating the victimhood patterns. We disconnect from our creative, idealistic power and by believing we are bad and weak, we continue to manifest a disytopic world, a self-fullfilling prophecy. 
Instead, we can choose to trust our inherent creative capabilities and start our journey of discovery of these creative powers and consciously manifest the world we dream of.
We can do this and we will do this. The time is now.

Being versus Doing

As humans we’ve been taught that we achieve big things only through working hard, playing hard, earning hard. In this image of humanity, we start out as incomplete, weak beings and have to work hard to climb up the ladder of worth. Doing is the only path to material, financial and emotional abundance. This belief results in a constant search for fulfillment in the outside world, because, after all, it was the outside world, that taught us, we need these accomplishments in the first place.
We need to step out of this constant wheel of doing, stop, and listen within, and start being as a result. Art can help us to make this shift from doing to being, by inspiring us to go on our personal journey of self discovery. 

Inner versus Outer World

Go within and ask yourself the BIG questions, you may have not asked for a long time: Do I actually need THESE accomplishments, are these things really my heart's desires? Do I feel fullfilled? Do I know who I am? Why am I here? What is my purpose?
In order to be able to answer these big questions, we need to get out of the wheel of doing/seeking outside accomplishments and turn inwards and listen. This state is a state of BEING, not of doing. It’s a creative state, where all things emerge from. It’s the place of the unknown, that houses all our potential.

 Art as Activator of Self Initiation

Art emerges from this place of unknown potentiality and is therefore a powerful helper on this inner journey of self discovery, self creation and self mastery.
